Obsolescence of Legacy kV2c Meters
Due to an obsolete component with no suitable alternates, Aclara is immediately stopping the sale of legacy kV2c meters with a few exceptions. With respect to non-AMI kV2c meters, new orders will be transitioned to the kV2c Gen 5 platform. To simplify the process of transitioning from Non-AMI kV2c meters to the next generation kV2c Gen 5 meter we have already created new Catalog Numbers (“CAT ID’s”) that represent your existing meters. Please note that all new kV2c Gen 5 meters will begin their CAT ID nomenclature with 78A.
